It must be an essential part of every actor's (in the genderless sense) genetic make-up that they cannot resist making a complete tit of themselves by displaying utter ignorance on a wide range of "right-on" topics. Especially one who is going to make a not insubstantial amount of money from a film series that "glamourises" guns and the people who use them.
